The route will feature 3 return flights weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday via an Airbus A320 which can accommodate a maximum of 180 passengers. The flight takes about 1 hour with fare ranging from as low as 0 VND to 1.5 million VND. According to Le Van Truc, Vice Chairman of Phu Yen People Committee, the new air route is expected to help boost travel demand between the two cities. There are currently 5,000 passengers booked to fly this new route between Ho Chi Minh City and Tuy Hoa.
