The event aims to raise public awareness about the importance of first aid in case of emergencies. Within the event, participants will go through a series of activities, including search and rescue exercises in mock cases of traffic accidents or fire. About 550 volunteers from different Red Cross organisations in the area attended the event. According to the International Federation of the Red Cross, first aid does not necessarily require any prior knowledge, and people should undergo basic first aid training or at least self-educate using any available reliable sources./.
