VTV.vn - The Hanoi Great Souvenirs Fair 2024 kicked off at the Hanoi Museum on the evening of April 25, displaying typical handicraft products of the capital city.

The event was organised by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade as part of the activities to welcome the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (1975-2024), and the 138th anniversary of International Workers' Day (1886-2024).

The fair features 100 booths by associations, businesses, artisans, producers, and traders of handicraft souvenirs and OCOP products.

The participating businesses are introducing a variety of typical and unique craft villages of the city as well as gift products made by Hanoi artisans with beautiful designs and good quality.

There are also agricultural products and typical OCOP products of the capital city.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that the fair aims to provide a venue for enterprises, rural industrial establishments, and artisans to promote, introduce, and sell their souvenirs products and handicraft gifts, which are imbued with Hanoi’s cultural value.

It is also an opportunity for them to participate in trade connection activities, promote experience exchange, and enhance cooperation in the production, processing, and consumption of high-quality rural industrial goods, thus forming a sustainable chain linking the production and consumption of this product type.

The fair will run until April 28 at Hanoi Museum in Pham Hung Street, Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.
