Hanoi targets 5.5 million foreign tourists in 2018

Hanoi wants to welcome 25.4 million visitors in 2018, including 5.5 million international tourists, an increase of 7% on-year and earn around 3.3 billion USD.

Hanoi's tourism sector will continue to focus on developing tourism products and welcoming environment. The city will also promote tourism on CNN via three 30-second adverts.

Hanoi ranked 9th of 10 trending destinations for 2018, according to data from Airbnb. Therefore, Hanoi's tourism is expected to continue developing rapidly and contribute to the wider economy.
