Chat Với Mozart 2 features nine songs. The pieces are by Franz Lizst, Johann Sebastian Bach, Anton Rubinstein, Gabriel Fauré, Antonin Drorak, Frederic Chopin, Achille-Claude Debussy and Edward Elgar. The lyrics are by Linh herself and famous Vietnamese songwriter Dương Thụ.
Another difference is that while the lyrics of the first album are about humans and nature, those in Chat with Mozart II are about love, life and family, which are familiar with everyone. The lyrics also reflect the feelings and feminine viewpoint of a mature woman.
On the contrary with her purely classical music in Chat với Mozart I, Mỹ Linh decides to perform classical musical songs in a more contemporary way in Chat với Mozart II. It is her intention to bring distant, not easy to listen trend of music closer to audiences.
The singer shares that through this CD, she want to find common ground between mid-agers and the youth in order to find harmony and remove boundaries.
