Hanoi starts online public administration

From now on, Hanoi residents can log on to egov.hanoi.gov.vn in order to complete administrative procedures including birth and death registrations, marriage registration and notarizing.

People can now do their registration forms anytime anywhere. The online administrative system will integrate a number of sectors including the police and social insurance, thus reducing time for processing procedures from 20 days to five days.

Hanoi is striving to implement this system throughout the city by this year's end and put 80% of public administration online by 2020.
