German strengthens ties

VTV.vn - Prime Minister Phuc agreed with the ambassador's proposal on the establishment of the Germany-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and said he would direct related agencies to facilitate the establishment.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with German Ambassador Christian Berger on Monday in Hanoi. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his hope that the two countries would continue to create favourable conditions for businesses to co-operate in trade and investment. Trade turnover between the two countries is expected reach 15 to 20 billion US dollars by 2020. Both sides should also promote co-operation in the fields of education, vocational training and infrastructure development. Ambassador Berger welcomed PM Phuc’s speech in the last session of the NA meeting in term of institutional reforms. He expressed his hope that Germany and Vietnam would co-operate more in many areas, including vocational training.
