The ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the structure was attended by Hanoi Party Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue.
Under construction since October 2019 at a cost of VND560 billion (US$24 million), the flyover is one of the largest of its kind in the capital city at 278 metres long and 16 metres wide.
The flyover project also includes expanding a 170-metre section of Nguyen Van Huyen Street, which has been a bottleneck for years.
With the completion of the project, the street now has ten lanes, helping to improve the connection between the three districts of Bac Tu Liem, Cau Giay and Tay Ho and relieve congestion in the area.
