On behalf of the Communist Party of Vietnam, state and people, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung congratulated the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Lao people on their achievements over the past four decades.
He noted that Vietnamese was grateful to President Kaysone Phomvihan and Lao’s significant contributions to bolstering the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos. Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Thongsavanh Phomvihane said the relationship has continued to thrive across the fields despite complicated and unpredictable international developments.
Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung also took this occasion to thank Vietnam for its support given to Laos in the past and at present.
