VTV.vn - Provinces in the southwestern region are preparing goods to meet demand as Lunar New Year nears, especially in rural areas and islands.

12 enterprises in Ca Mau Province have reserved a large amount of goods with the total value of 48.18 million US dollars, a 16% rise year on year, most of which are Vietnamese goods. The early preparation of products has helped prevent price fluctuations, even in island districts and communes. Kien Giang Province will send 9 batches of goods to rural areas, border ares and 7 island communes to make sure prices are stable. The batches of goods will weigh 35,500 tonnes, and are valued at 83.22 million US dollars.
