Floods kill 13 people in central Vietnam

VTV.vn - Flooding brought by torrential rain since late November has killed at least 13 people in central Vietnam, while more heavy rain is expected in the coming days.

It has been reported that six people have died from flooding in Binh Dinh province since Thursday with another three injured, while more than 10,000 homes in Binh Dinh and Quang Ngai were submerged.

Over 2,800 hectares of vegetables and crops were damaged while nearly 19 thousand cattle and poultry were killed. Meanwhile, a cold snap now moving south is forecasted to continue bringing heavy rain to central provinces between now and next Thursday.
