According to the forecast, the peak will reach 3.7 meters in the Tân Châu monitoring station on the Tiền River and 3.2 meters in the Châu Đốc monitoring station on the Hậu River.
Water levels in provinces in the Mekong River's downstream may be higher due to the combination of floods and tides. Local people have been warned about inundation in low areas, along riverbanks, outside temporary dikes and erosion.
