Authorities announced that a glass bottom boat hit the restaurant while taking tourists to it. This broke the floating restaurant in half.
There were some 300 diners on the ship at the time. The restaurant, constructed on a 200-square-meter platform on top of floating oil drums, started to sink to one side at around 10 a.m, witnesses said.
