Envisioned as an artistic gathering space that blends warmth, togetherness, and festive energy, Spring Square will feature many well-known artists and performers. The program promises to introduce audiences to a new cultural rendezvous where music, comedy, and performance art converge, offering a fresh and emotionally rich way to reflect on the events of the past year on the eve of the New Year.
Designed as a vibrant yet intimate artistic setting, Spring Square evokes the spirit of reunion and family bonding during the transition from the old year to the new. Familiar laughter typical of New Year’s Eve remains a central element of the program.
Actor Do Duy Nam shared: “I take on a very special role that I can’t reveal yet, but I'll be playing a character from 8:00 PM to midnight. Spring Square will introduce many fresh elements, blending music, musical theatre, comedy, and dance. It is definitely a program worth looking forward to on New Year’s Eve”.
While laughter is an essential part of the night, the program also offers quieter, more reflective moments. Many of the country’s notable events from the past year will be revisited in Spring Square, allowing audiences to relive them with a wide range of emotions.
The show has already impressed its first viewers who had the opportunity to watch during the recording process.
Child actor Bui Nguyen Gia Bao, who plays Chien Do in Just One Millimeter Away, attended the recording and shared: “There are so many famous artists, I’m really excited. I believe this will be a good and meaningful program for everyone”.
During the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, alongside Spring Square, Vietnam Television will present a rich lineup of special programs filled with springtime warmth and optimism to accompany audiences nationwide as they step into the new year .
