Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh visited the southern province of Tay Ninh on February 5, where he personally presented gifts to hardworking locals and those in need and wished them a Lunar New Year (Tet) filled with joy, good health, and prosperity.
At Phuoc Dong Industrial Park in Gia Loc ward, Chinh handed over gifts to dedicated employees of Gainlucky company, and Dai Dung II High-Tech Mechanical JSC in Duc Hoa commune.
Continuing his rounds of kindness, the delegation also reached out to underprivileged families in Go Dau ward and Thạnh Hoa commune. In total, 400 gift packages, each valued at 1 million VND (38.4 USD) and filled with cash and daily necessities, were shared with gratitude and care.
The Party and State maintain a firm commitment to pursuing rapid and sustainable development in tandem with social progress and equity, guided by the spirit of "leaving no one behind", Chinh said.
He commended Tay Ninh’s strong socio-economic performance throughout 2025, crediting the succees to the tireless efforts of the local workforce, civil servants, employees, and broad public support.
The provincial Party committees, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front chapters, and mass organisations were urged to provide better care for poor and near-poor households and disadvantaged workers, ensuring social security benefits so that all can celebrate Tet in warmth and happiness.
