Among the passengers, nearly 100 were children, many of whom were under two years old, and around 100 were women and older adults.
All passengers were in good health. The flight to repatriate Vietnamese citizens was more difficult than previous ones as most passengers had lived in Ukraine for many years, making the decision to leave a tough choice.
Other difficulties included some passengers lacking documents and last-minute adjustments to the list due to Covid-19 infections.
As of Monday night, representative agencies of Vietnam in Ukraine and neighboring countries have received about 3,500 Vietnamese people who've fled conflict areas in Ukraine. The next repatriation flight is scheduled for March 10 and more will be arranged based on people's needs.
