The two-month figure was up 10.8% from the same period last year. Specifically, domestic collection rose by 7.6% to 11.85 billion USD. Tax collection from crude oil was over 354 million USD, up 57% due to an increase in average oil prices during these two months.
Export and import were estimated to have contributed nearly 1.97 billion USD to the state budget, reaching 22.6% of this year's target. Sixty out of 63 localities were on schedule in terms of state budget collection, while 44 collected more than 20% of their estimates.
The Ministry of Finance said state budget collection in February was high despite the Lunar New Year holiday.
