Chemtrovina specialises in manufacturing electric wire and wireless chargers for Samsung. Chemtrovina just invested 10 million US dollars in expanding the factory in Đồng Nai Province. Rent for its premises would be 20% higher if the factory was based in HCM City.

Đồng Nai is one of four provinces to receive the most additional foreign investment. Projects accepted in Đồng Nai in the first half of the year are selected carefully with a priority given to high-tech firms, businesses concentrating on skilled workers, support industry, and environmentally-friendly projects. South Korea, Taiwan and Japan topped the list of foreign investors in the first half of this year.

Foreign investors can always make phone calls, send emails or work directly with provincial leaders if they encounter any problems. Collaboration with businesses and improvements in administrative procedures have helped Đồn Nai become one of the country’s top foreign-investment attracting provinces. As of April, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority has accepted business applications and work with other agencies to complete all the paperwork for investing enterprises, cutting registration to 10 days or less.
