VTV.vn - The portrait of 78-year-old Bùi Thị Xong, named “The most beautiful old woman”, will be donated to Vietnamese Women’s Museum by renowned French photographer Rehahn Croquevielle in the coming Women’s Day, March 8th.

The picture of Bui Thị Xong, a boat woman in Hoi An, was one of the first photos taken by Rehahn for his photography book Hidden Smile. The picture portrays a woman shyly smiling with a hand covering her mouth. The photo of Bui Thi Xong also appeared in National Geographic, the Los Angeles Times, and UK’s Daily Mail. It was one of the two photos taken by Rehahn to be included in the collection at the Asian Museum in HAVANA, Cuba.
