The picture of Bui Thị Xong, a boat woman in Hoi An, was one of the first photos taken by Rehahn for his photography book Hidden Smile. The picture portrays a woman shyly smiling with a hand covering her mouth. The photo of Bui Thi Xong also appeared in National Geographic, the Los Angeles Times, and UK’s Daily Mail. It was one of the two photos taken by Rehahn to be included in the collection at the Asian Museum in HAVANA, Cuba.
