In a meeting with US Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister underlined that the US President’s visit to Vietnam in May would play an important role in boosting ties between the two countries especially when Vietnam and the USA are set to become members of the Trans-Pacific Partnership if they ratify the agreement.
The Deputy PM also met the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam. He called for more support from Australia in agriculture, and safe water for mountain and mangrove forest regions. He expressed his hope that the Australian government would offer more scholarships for Vietnamese students and help Vietnamese fruits to enter the Australian market.
