Accordingly, the goal is to basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses across the country by August 31. Among these, support for housing for the families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution is required to be completed before July 27.
So far, sectors and localities have supported the removal of over 205,000 temporary and dilapidated houses, with more than 147,000 houses completed and over 58,000 houses under construction or about to begin. Twenty-one out of 63 localities no longer have any temporary or dilapidated houses.
The Prime Minister has directed the relevant ministries and sectors to adjust the funding and provide support for the cost differences in housing from two national target programs, which are set to begin in 2025, to be completed by June 20. Agencies and units are required to consolidate the funding needs and send them to the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Religious Affairs by June 15.
Localities must mobilize all resources and speed up the process of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in their areas. The remaining houses that have not been built must all begin construction by June 20, to ensure completion by August 31.
