He set a goal of keeping annual inflation and basic inflation at below 4% and 1.6% respectively to enable economic growth of 6.7%.
The deputy PM also instructed related agencies to update authorities on the damage caused by floods to agriculture to regulate prices of agricultural products through this year. He instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Finance to effectively use the price stabilisation fund to control the price of petroleum.
He also urged the Ministry of Transport to quickly adjust the prices of BOT road services at 51 stations.
