The event drew the participation of 30 experts and academics on the Asia-Pacific relations. 10 papers were delivered and discussed during this event. The topics featured covered China's 9-dashed-line claim and the peaceful approaches to resolving disputes in the area. Many of the participants showed their belief that China does not have a legal and legitimate claim to the East Sea. All participants agreed that the dispute could only be resolved by peaceful means with the good will of all parties involved.
