Domestic travel agents compete with international online travel agents

VTV.vn - E-commerce development is a push of the increase in online travel agents (OTA). However, 80% of the OTA market in Vietnam is operated by international companies, including Agoda, Traveloka, or Booking.

To gain competitive advantages, many domestic agents have improved their services and investment capital to increase market shares. The question is whether domestic OTAs can compete with international agents.

At the same time, it is also necessary to coordinate with hotels and tourism services to create a system, in which companies can support each other to reduce prices and attract customers.
