In line with the latest changes, the retail price of E5 RON 92 bio-fuel recorded an increase of VND712 to reach VND19,760 per litre, while that of RON 95 rose by VND752 to peak VND20,916 per litre.
Elsewhere, the selling price of diesel 0.05S was capped at VND16,119 per litre, while the prices of kerosene and mazut oil stood at VND15,051 per litre and VND15,449 per kilo, respectively.
Economic recovery is on the right track, fuelling a sharp increase in global demand for gasoline. In addition, this factor has also affected the price of finished petroleum products, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance
Both ministries come together every 15 days in order to review fuel prices and make relevant adjustments to domestic prices in accordance with global market fluctuations.
During the latest price adjustment, the two ministries decided to use the Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 at VND1,500 per litre, RON95 at VND500 per litre, and diesel oil at VND100 per litre.
