VTV.vn - Heavy rains and landslides in Khanh Hoa province have caused the deaths of 17 people and three people to go missing. Local authorities are urgently inspecting projects and construction works that pose threats of landslides as this was one one of the causes of death for 3 people in Vinh Hoa Ward.

The deaths were attributed to a broken artificial reservoir in a residential project under construction. For this reason, the question has arisen: Does such rapid urban development lead to negative consequences?

According to local authorities of Vinh Hoa Ward, they have been working with investors from the Hoàng Phú high-end residential area to provide support for households suffering from the flood's effects. Specifically, the project will provide aid for families of victims who have died with more than 4000 USD and 1500 USD for those who've lost their homes.
