Although he did not finish first in the Monthly Round 3 of Quarter 3, Thanh Tung earned his place in the Quarterly Round as the “top runner-up” with the highest monthly score of 165 points.
During the Quarter 3 match, broadcast on July 20, Tung made a stunning breakthrough. In the Finishing round, he lost points on his own set of questions but made an impressive comeback by scoring on his opponents’ rounds. He finished with 255 points, far ahead of his competitors and officially bringing the Grand Finale live broadcast location to Khanh Hoa Province.
The competition offered Tung experiences he had never imagined. Though he had long been a devoted viewer of Road to Olympia Mount, especially the grand finals, he never thought he would one day stand on that very stage as a finalist.
By securing Khanh Hoa’s second-ever Olympia live broadcast, the student from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted received wholehearted support from his school, teachers, and family. They are all standing behind him as he represents his province in the national finale.
The Grand Finale of the 25th Road to Olympia Mount will take place at 8:30 AM on Sunday, October 26, 2025. It will be broadcast live on VTV3 and streamed online on VTV Online (VTV.vn).
