The main focus of this dialogue was on the use of bonded warehouses. Many businesses expressed that the limited space of these facilities is making it difficult for businesses. Some suggested that the HCM City Department of Customs should expand the size of these warehouses to allow businesses more time to sort out finances.
The General Department of Customs will convey the opinions to the Ministry of Finance to consider changes. The government body also promised to introduce the single-window model consistently throughout the customs system.
