VTV.vn - The daughter of an American soldier who died during the war in Vietnam is offering other Americans who lost their parents the opportunity to visit the country.

Over 365 thousand American soldiers died during the war in Vietnam. 40 years later, six sons and daughters of this number took the opportunity to visit the country. This was part of Two Sides Project run by Margaret Carlson Delogne and members of Sons and Daughters in Touch.

During the trip from the north to the south this month, the participants have visited former battle fields, historical sites and famous places. They have also had the opportunity to Vietnamese veterans and the sons and daughters of dead soldiers.

Leaving the past behind, both American and Vietnamese will play a small role in fostering relations between the two countries.
