This was a statement made by Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam at a welcoming ceremony for Cuban Minister of Labour and Social Security Margarita Fernandez in Hanoi on September 13.
The host requested both sides enhance cooperation and experience sharing to perfect policies and build models of social security in accordance with sustainable development. He also asked the Cuban Ministry to create optimal conditions for Vietnamese firms operating in Cuba.
The two sides exchanged views on human resources development, workers’ rights, and benefits in medical services, education, social welfare and poverty reduction.
