According to centre director Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, the centre has taken care of and provided literacy and vocational education to hundreds of children with physical disabilities and slow development in the past six years.
At present, the centre is home to 108 children with eleven literacy classes and four vocational classes, including sewing, weaving, computer skills and drawing.
During the talk with the centre’s teachers, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh spoke highly of its charitable activities to provide free care and education to children with disabilities.
He expects local authorities and philanthropists in Quang Ngai to provide further support to the centre so that it can become a place to nurture the dreams of underprivileged children.
On the same day, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh offered flowers and incense to national hero Truong Dinh and visited the historic Hiep Pho Nam Tunnel, also in Quang Ngai Province.
