On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, Deputy PM Teo Chee Hean extended his deepest sympathies to the Government and people of Vietnam over the passing away of the Vietnamese State President.
Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh thanked the Singaporean PM and his wife for attending the funeral and said that their presence shows just how special the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Singapore truly is. Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh hopes that Vietnam and Singapore will continue to improve their strategic partnership and implement signed agreements, especially in the fields of economy, culture, society, and law.
