A number of National Assembly deputies pointed out the shortcomings in the implementation of policies on planning, management, and use of urban land. According to deputies, urban planning shortcomings in the management and use of land came from capacity limitation and the lack of responsibility from some localities' leaders.
This has also contributed to losses in the State budget revenue. On behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said that it recognizes the opinions of deputies and it will put in more effort to resolve shortcomings in management, planning and land use in the future.
