This year's "Crescent Moon" is organised by the Vietnamese Youth with Disabilities Club (VYDC), the Vietnam Sustainable Health Development Centre (VietHealth), and the Centre for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP).
Among 76 candidates nationwide, nine were chosen to compete in the finale.
Overcoming the difficulty of performing an Indian dance with one leg, contestant Bế Thị Băng from Cao Bang wowed the judges and won first prize. The runner up is a contestant with a visual impairment, Nguyễn Thị Hương Giang from Hanoi. And the second runner up is Phan Thị Kim Vân from Quang Nam.
