The village is home to a number of households who make a living from offshore fishing. Vo Thanh Phuong - Vice Chairman, Phuoc Hai People’s Committee of Dat Do District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province said that the locality has also relocated moorings for basket boats. It also encourages coastal households to register for garbage collection at their houses to reduce the incidence of sea pollution.
