COP21 pressed for final agreement

As scheduled, by 6pm local time, the COP21 must adopt a new global legal framework on climate change committed to cutting emissions.

Despite the controversy, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius expressed his hope that a draft meeting the deadline would be adopted.

3 remaining issues include the classification of rich and poor countries, the target of collecting 100 billion USD, and the goal of restricting the average temperature rise to below 2 degrees celsius worldwide.
