Conference highlights search for remains of war dead

The remains of 8,000 soldiers have been found since 2012, according to a report at the conference. Over the last 3 years, a series of campaigns to search and recover the remains of fallen combatants have taken place. Active participants were named and praised at the event. However, the conference also mentioned limitations, such as inefficient communications and the slow pace of implementation.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam ordered the improvement in the use of IT and administration of records related to war dead.
