The conference was jointly held by Central region’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Consulate General of Russian Federation.
At the conference, it was reported in the conference that Vietnam ranked first in the South East Asia region in terms of investing in Russia. Although bilateral trade values between the two countries has increased by about 20% a year, the number of Vietnamese firms investing in Russia and the commercial value of the trade remains still modest, especially involving firms from the central region. Therefore, it is necessary to boost access to the Russian market in addition to removing technical and tariff barriers.
