On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Binh visited the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) where he congratulated the successful celebration of the 500th year anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, an important milestone for the Evangelical Church of Vietnam and joy this Christmas season.
Visiting the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics the same day, he urged the committee to encourage Catholics to work on production, poverty reduction and national development. He hoped that Catholic followers would lead a good life, and follow guidelines and polices of the party and state.
