Christmas greetings to Christians Catholics

VTV.vn - Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh wished Catholic dignitaries and followers a merry Christmas while visiting the Archdiocese of Hanoi on Friday.

He also applauded contributions made by religious people and Catholic followers in particular. He expressed his hope that under the leadership of Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon, the Hanoi Archdiocese will do more to build and protect national unity.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Binh visited the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) where he congratulated the successful celebration of the 500th year anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, an important milestone for the Evangelical Church of Vietnam and joy this Christmas season.
Visiting the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics the same day, he urged the committee to encourage Catholics to work on production, poverty reduction and national development. He hoped that Catholic followers would lead a good life, and follow guidelines and polices of the party and state.
