Provincial leaders announced at an investment promotion conference on Sunday that Binh Thuan has many advantages to attract investments as it is a gateway to the southeastern region, the Central Highlands, and the south-central region and is home to a 200km coastline. "Binh Thuan needs to create more incentives in order to lure investors. However, development must be sustainable and ensure environmental protection," Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said. Investment agreements amounting to more than 20 billion USD were signed at the conference.
