Total investment capital is VND 544billion or 27 million USD. The shelter is expected to be completed in 2020. It will provide a safe space for over 1,000 fishing boats with capacities of 600 CV in the south central province of Binh Thuan and neigboring provinces, including the Spratly archipelago. The waters around Phu Quy island have high economic benefits and resources and therefore, attract many boats.
