The funding will be used to support livelihoods and recover infrastructure damages following the recent floodings. But one of the biggest concerns for local residents after several consecutive floods is that the risk of river bank and coastline erosion. Without prompt and adequate funding to reinforce dykes, the risk may lead to new sea opening that could potentially impact the livelihoods of local residents.
