Best Friends is a story of five friends living and sharing dreams, struggling to make a living to survive and study in the city. With this series, the notion of "family" has acquired a broader meaning: the family is a home in which people live, share, love, support each other and they don’t necessarily share the same blood.
All five main characters of the film are young people who study in the last years of college, and have struggled to start their careers. They rely on each other to live, trust each other, share with each other the bitterness and sweetness of life. Together, they are really a family.
"Every character is a very ordinary young person in this crowded city but they have a chance to be sparkling, because they have dreams”, said Vinh An, the film director.
The TV series will be broadcast at 20:15 every Mondays and Tuesdays. This is Family 4.0 movie time frame, which broadcasts TV series related to family topic.
"The TV drama is expected to add a new attraction to the Family 4.0 time frame. Vietnamese movies on VTV2 channel would not be purely entertainment but lessons about life aspirations, energy to live and love", Do Quoc Khanh, Head of Scientific and Educational Programs Department, VTV, affirmed.
