The Hoa Xuân Ca Music Festival, themed "The Journey Back", will be broadcast on VTV1, VTV3, VTV8, VTV9, VTV Cần Thơ channels at 20:10 on 8 February 2023 (Lunar New Year), promising to bring audiences a visually satisfying artistic feast.
As the old year comes to an end and the new year begins, every Vietnamese person's thoughts turn to their homeland, their roots and their families. Gathering together in the evening, enjoying preserved fruits, savouring fragrant tea and watching television programmes has become a long-standing habit. With this in mind, Vietnam Television has been planning the Hoa Xuân Ca programme since the beginning of 2023 and will broadcast the show on the 29th of the Lunar New Year, which promises to be a highly emotional artistic space, a "feast" of sound and light, with unique and elaborate stage designs, especially with the participation of leading Vietnamese artists.
Creative inspiration is ignited and sustained throughout the programme, manifesting itself in unexpected changes on stage, unprecedented collaborations and fresh musical compositions. All of this guarantees unforgettable emotions and takes the audience back to their homeland at the most special moments.
The outstanding artistic performances create visually stunning effects, especially when combined with high quality music.
According to director Khải Anh's description of the programme on the VTVgo platform, the theme of Hoa Xuân Ca 2024 is Journey Back. The stage design has multiple paths leading to the centre, symbolising the idea that all paths lead back to reuniting with family in the warmth of home. The expansive stage accommodates hundreds of artists performing together in a single act, creating the most magnificent effect for the grand music festival. To give the audience the best possible experience, all the cameras used are 4K - VFC's equipment for film and television productions.
It is estimated that around 500 people are involved in the pre-production of the Hoa Xuân Ca programme. The line-up of artists includes prominent figures from the young music scene such as Mỹ Tâm, Hà Trần, Thu Phương, Hồ Ngọc Hà, meritorious artist Kim Tử Long, Tùng Dương, Đen Vâu, Binz, Hồ Quỳnh Hương, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh, Hoàng Thuỳ Linh, Uyên Linh, Hoàng Hải, Văn Mai Hương, Isaac, Lân Nhã, Hoà Minzy, Mono, Tăng Duy Tân and others. There are also traditional and classical instrumentalists (such as the đàn hạc), dance troupes and more.
The young singer Mono is enthusiastic about the special garden of "Hoa Xuân Ca".
In addition to the main stage, Hoa Xuân Ca also has a secondary stage with a charming photo area that resembles a small garden lush with flowers and leaves. In particular, the backdrop is a color palette depicting the image of sunrise with the changing colors of the sky and light. This symbolizes the bright image of a new day, a new spring season, as artists stand to take commemorative photos with the program.
Singer Văn Mai Hương returns to 'Hoa Xuân Ca' with an impressive performance.
All the artists are excited and proud to be part of VTV's grand show and have prepared their performances with meticulously designed costumes.
The dancers perform intricate movements in a visually stunning dance.
In addition to stage premieres, Hoa Xuân Ca will feature many songs being performed by artists for the first time, as well as various new and special collaborations created specifically for the show.
A series of behind-the-scenes shows will be broadcast on special media channels to promote the program on VTV Online, VTVgo and other platforms, bringing Hoa Xuân Ca and the participating artists closer to the audience.
The Hoa Xuân Ca Grand Music Festival will be broadcast on VTV1, VTV3, VTV8, VTV9 and VTV Can Tho channels on February 8, 2023 (29th Tet) at 8:10 pm.
