The event will be broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television, and simultaneously relayed on Dien Bien Radio and Television Network. This will bring audiences nationwide an artistic space rich in the cultural identity of the Northwest during the ban flower blooming season.
The Ban Flower Festival is a signature cultural and tourism event of Dien Bien Province, held annually in March when ban flowers blossom across the mountains and forests of the Northwest. Beyond celebrating the beauty of this symbolic flower, the festival showcases the unique cultural values of the ethnic communities living in the region, while introducing Dien Bien as a dynamic destination with great tourism potential to both domestic and international visitors.

This year’s opening ceremony has been meticulously staged to combine traditional art forms with modern stage technology. The opening segment, titled “Spring Colors of the Mountains”, will immerse audiences in the vibrant festival atmosphere through the song Hoa Ban Dien Bien, performed by artists Tien Hung and Sen Hoang My Lam alongside a troupe of dancers. Modern lighting effects and immersive surround sound technology will paint a vivid picture of spring in the Northwestern mountains.
Following the opening ceremony and speeches by leaders from the central government and Dien Bien Province, attendees will enjoy a large-scale artistic program themed “Ban Flower - The Aspiration of Dien Bien”. The program is divided into three chapters: Dien Bien - The Source of the Northwest, The Vitality of the Highland People, Flowers of Heaven and Earth - Convergence and Spread. Through musical and dance performances, the program portrays the beauty of nature, the region's cultural identity, and the aspirations for developing this historic land.

The artistic night will feature many beloved singers and performers, including Truc Nhan, Phuc Bo, Hellen Hien, Thu Hang, and Ngoc Tam, as well as artists from the Dien Bien Provincial Ethnic Art Troupe.
A special highlight of the program is a cultural exchange performance by a Thai art troupe, which adds an international dimension to the festival. After the main artistic program, audiences will also enjoy a mini music show featuring popular young singers popular , creating a lively festival atmosphere that continues throughout the night.
Through the live broadcast on VTV, the pure beauty of the ban flower season, along with the culture and people of Dien Bien, will be widely shared with viewers nationwide, contributing to tourism promotion and affirming Dien Bien’s position as a culturally rich destination on Vietnam’s tourism map.
