To mark the 56th anniversary of VTV’s first broadcast on September 7, 1970, Vietnam Television held an arts and cultural exchange programme that brought together generations of VTV officials and employees. The event offered an opportunity to reconnect, share experiences and strengthen the spirit of solidarity that has long united the VTV community.
Over the past 56 years, VTV has grown from its challenging early days into a modern and influential national broadcaster. This transformation has been driven by generations of reporters, editors, technicians and staff whose dedication has fueled VTV’s success and earned the trust and affection of audiences in Vietnam and overseas.

The feature “Proactively Shaping the Future” revisited VTV’s long journey from its challenging beginnings to becoming the modern and professional broadcaster it is today.
During the event, the Organizing Committee presented awards for the “Behind a Frame” video creation competition. Designed to bring the untold stories behind the camera closer to audiences, the competition helped foster professional pride, creativity and a strong culture of teamwork among VTV staff.

The online photo competition “VTV - Moments I Love” invited VTV staff and audiences to share memorable moments from their time at VTV. Awards were presented across 14 categories, including First, Second and Third Prizes, as well as special awards for outstanding stories and moments.
Sporting activities also brought the VTV community together. The VTV Run on September 4 attracted more than 350 participants, while the VTV Pickleball Tournament 2026 featured 214 matches and nearly 270 athletes from 24 units. Medals were awarded across four events, with both activities helping strengthen connections and promote a sporting spirit among colleagues.

The evening exchange and awards ceremony was enlivened by performances showcasing VTV’s distinctive identity. Performers included VTV staff and guest artists from the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Music Ensemble.

1. “Behind a Frame” Video Creation Competition
Special Prize: “Dream Assignment - Appreciating VTVer”, produced by the VTV News Department.
First Prize: “Behind the Frames”, produced by the VTV Film Center.
Second Prize: “Behind the Journey to Capture the Rhythm of Vietnam’s Nature - Wild Live”, produced by the Department of Thematic Programmes and Science-Education.
Third Prize: “Symphony”, produced by the VTV Center for the Central and Central Highlands Region; and “Superhero”, produced by the Television Technology and Graphics Center.
Special Category Awards:
Best Script: “Special Prize” (Sports Television Center).
Most Impressive Visuals: “If One Day There Were No Office” (VTV Office).
Most Moving Story: “Wherever There Is Difficulty, There Is VTV” (Department of Culture and Entertainment).
Audience Choice Award: “Behind a Frame” (Multimedia Television Editorial Department).
2. Sports Activities
At the VTV Pickleball Tournament, each athlete on a First Prize-winning team received VND 2 million, while athletes on Second and Third Prize-winning teams received VND 1 million each..
