Avatar 2 to release at Christmas of 2017

VTV.vn - Due to director James Cameron’s confirmation, the sequel of ‘Avatar’ will be released at Christmas in 2017.

According to the director – James Cameron, he was in eagerness to conduct the sequel of ‘Avatar’, after its huge success in 2009. Since the delay of the movie’s premiere, he paid attention to its released date. However, it was not his first priority but completing the movie.

“Christmas of ’17 is the target,” Cameron to Montreal Gazette Magazine. “At least, that’s what we’ve announced. But I don’t consider that to be as important as the fact that when we get all three films done.”

James Cameron confirmed that ‘Avatar 4’ would be the prequel. At the beginning of the year, the movie’s producer announced the delay of the second sequel, on the grounds that James had done 3 parts at the same time. James admitted that filming 3 parts of the series simultaneously was intensive, but without affecting the content. Each sequel could stand independently but together building a big picture.

Famous director also revealed that the pre-production of 3 sequels had completed and he was ready for the filming. The preparation for the pre-production procedure endured for 2 years. The context, the creature, the new world of Pandora has nearly been completed by far. Techniques, infrastructures and the whole crew are in readiness for filming.
