The festival saw the participation of more than 60 artists from six ASEAN countries including Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. As the host, Vietnam sent about 100 artists from four art troupes across three different regions to participate in the event.
The week-long festival will conclude on May 31 and the Organizing Board will award prizes for the most outstanding performances. The festival is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Vietnam Musicians' Association, and the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports.
