This is the first annual meeting of the ASEAN Ministers to discuss and approve the priorities of ASEAN in 2018 under the chairmanship of Singapore. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh led the Vietnamese delegation at the conference.
Ministers also agreed to strengthen relations with ASEAN counterparts and mobilize more sources to construct the community. ASEAN should also unite and maintain rules and procedures to improve the efficiency of the mechanism and ensure regional orientation.
