Vietnamese vegetables claimed an export turnover of 857 million USD from the first 4 months of this year. This was a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. On average, vegetable and fruit products bring in around 8.2 million dollars worth of foreign currencies every day. Vietnamese vegetable and fruit products have appeared in many countries such as the USA, Japan, South Korea, Germany and The Netherlands. However, the biggest consumer of Vietnamese vegetables and fruits remains to be China.
Meanwhile, other agricultural products such as rice, coffee and pepper are experiencing a setback.
